I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. I am highly trained to help people improve interpersonal relationships. My approach to therapy is a warm, collaborative, and personal one. Whether the problem is relatively new or something that has been troublesome for many years, I can be of assistance.

I specialize in helping people with anxiety disorders, particularly obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and provide treatment for phobias, panic disorder, social anxiety, general anxiety, and PTSD.

I also work with people to improve their lives amidst a variety of other problems, including:

• General anxiety

• OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)

• Panic disorder

• Phobias

• Social anxiety

Do you find yourself spending too much time worrying about the possibility of unfortunate things happening?  Do you find yourself troubled by intrusive thoughts that are causing you increasingly greater anxiety and distress?  Are these worries becoming all consuming?  If so, therapy can help put things back on track.

• Communication difficulties

• Co-parenting after divorce

• Infidelity

• Relationship problems

• Separation/divorce

Do you feel too distant from someone you love?  Does your relationship feel emotionally empty? Have you tried to approach whatever seems wrong but can’t seem to find a way to sort it out together?  Are you fighting more with your partner?  Have positive interactions and responsiveness between you diminished?  If so, couples therapy can help.

• Behavioral issues

• Family conflicts

• Parenting concerns

• School-related difficulties

Are your family relationships strained? Do you have concerns about your children’s behavior or moods? Is there too much conflict between family members that is not getting better? Are there communications difficulties? If so, family therapy can be a valuable tool to creating change.

• Coping skills

• Chronic illness

• Depression

• Grief and loss

• Life transitions

• Self-esteem

• Stress management

• Trauma

Do you feel overwhelmed by stress?  Have you recently experienced a major life change?  Do you find yourself feeling sad or depressed much of the time?  Do you feel stuck in self-defeating behaviors? Do you wish you could resolve a long-standing source of unhappiness?  If so, therapy can help you to increase your sense of well-being.
